Whoever climbs the Arlberg will find at 1,800 meters above sea level a world of unending cuisine: the Arlberg Hospiz Ski Club Room, the main restaurant in Tirol in Arlberg.
In the century winter 1900/1901 pioneers of Austrian ski sports skied at the Hospiz for the first time. With wine, hearty food and with a high-spirited atmosphere they founded the most well-known ski club in the world, the Skiclub Arlberg .
Where once the first chapter in the history of Austrian ski sports was opened, today Mathias Seidel writes his culinary history. He has convinced his guests with ease: In addition to Mediterranean creations, Austrian classics are served in the à la carte restaurant that reinvents haute cuisine.
